Production line inspector • Sheffield, England

Now hiring: we are hiring a production line inspector in Sheffield, England. You will work in an electronics assembly workshop. Requirements: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Day-to-day duties: • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line Rotating shifts.
