Automotive paint technician — Camden County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Camden County, North Carolina. The job is in an automotive paint and panel workshop. The role involves: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour You should have: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
