Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Telford and Wrekin, England. You will work in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 5+ years on the tools preferred.
