Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Ilorin South, Kwara State. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
