Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Clayton County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces The role involves tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush.
