Banksman — Morgan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Morgan County, Indiana. You will be based on a high-rise building site. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day to day you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
