Lift maintenance fitter wanted in North Ayrshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in North Ayrshire, Scotland. You will work on a lift modernisation project. What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring You will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
