Immediate opening: steel erection rigger (Katsina State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Kankara, Katsina State. Day-to-day duties: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 1+ years on the tools preferred. ₦245,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
