Sample machinist — Akoko South East

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Akoko South East, Ondo State. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Day to day you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
