Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in Slope County, North Dakota. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate On a typical shift you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake.
