Sheet metal press operator wanted in Clay County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Clay County, Illinois. You will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; record output and downtime on the production sheet; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
