QC technician • Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska

Great opportunity: we are hiring a QC technician in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Day to day you will draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer. Requirements: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Willing to work rotating and night shifts 4+ years on the tools preferred.
