Occupational health and safety officer — Mangu

Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Mangu, Plateau State. Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations You will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer ₦70,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
