System formwork carpenter wanted in City of Salem

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in City of Salem, Virginia. The job is on a residential tower site. You will repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Six days a week, one day off.
