Day-to-day duties: • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour You should have: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
