In-process quality controller wanted in City and Borough of Birmingham

Join our team: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. Day-to-day duties: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans You should have: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
