Glass and glazing technician — Green Lake County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Green Lake County, Wisconsin. Day to day you will replace cracked or broken window panes; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film. Requirements: • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Able to cut glass accurately to size At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
