Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Breathitt County, Kentucky. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; grind back and re-weld any defective runs.
