Rebar fixer wanted in Poweshiek County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Poweshiek County, Iowa. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On a typical shift you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
