Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Dawes County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On the job you will handle: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits.
