Gas pipeline fitter — Sabine Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings Day-to-day duties: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Full-time, day shift.
