Site carpenter wanted in City of Manassas

Join our team: we are hiring a site carpenter in City of Manassas, Virginia. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Day-to-day duties: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Full-time with occasional weekends.
