Machinist — Abua/Odual

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Abua/Odual, Rivers State. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Six days a week, one day off. ₦270,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
