Now hiring: gas metal arc welder (Ondo State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Akoko North East, Ondo State. You will be based at an automobile body shop. On a typical shift you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
