HGV driver — Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HGV driver in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska. You will work on long-haul routes across the country. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules The role involves: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing Six days a week, one day off.
