Lift technician — Erie County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift technician in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
