Formwork carpenter wanted in City of Alexandria

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in City of Alexandria, Virginia. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. Your main tasks: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints Requirements: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
