External wall insulation fitter — Fairfield County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Fairfield County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Day-to-day duties: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding 2+ years on the tools preferred.
