Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Socorro County, New Mexico. The job is at a cake shop. Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Your main tasks: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
