Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Limestone County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day to day you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
