Vacancy available: port container crane operator (Pennsylvania)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans On the job you will handle: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
