Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Fulton County, Indiana. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
