Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Brown County, Texas. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level The role involves fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
