Aluminium tig welder wanted in Marion County

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Marion County, Indiana. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
