Cold store insulation technician — Saint James Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Saint James Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
