Immediate opening: scaffolding labourer (North Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Golden Valley County, North Dakota. You will work at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Able to read basic scaffold drawings Day-to-day duties: • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips We offer $120 per day plus benefits.
