Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Campbell County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On a typical shift you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
