Lift installation engineer — Sabine Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On the job you will handle: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
