Immediate opening: concrete worker (Mississippi)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete worker in Claiborne County, Mississippi. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Day to day you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off.
