GTAW welder wanted in Cherokee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Cherokee County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
