GMAW welder wanted in Lafayette County

Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Lafayette County, Arkansas. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
