Fire and safety officer wanted in Lamar County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Lamar County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills On a typical shift you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
