Ladle pourer wanted in Palo Alto County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Palo Alto County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
