Now hiring: semi-automatic welder (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Monroe County, New York. Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Full-time with occasional weekends.
