Industrial sewing operator — Greenwood County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Greenwood County, Kansas. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown The role involves: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Six days a week, one day off.
