Bar bender and fixer • Yakima County, Washington

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Yakima County, Washington. Your main tasks: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
