Cnc lathe operator wanted in Montmorency County

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Montmorency County, Michigan. You will work in a tool room. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls The role involves: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
