Tracked excavator operator — Grand Isle County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Grand Isle County, Vermont. The job is on a housing development site. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances The role involves strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport.
