Wood machinist wanted in Washington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Washington County, Maryland. Day to day you will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
