Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixer in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. The job is at a high-rise construction project. On a typical shift you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits.
